The location was superb, nestled in the serene wilderness, with plenty of wildlife to spot from the balcony. The staff was welcoming, and the cabin had all the necessary amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen and heating. The walking trails provided a great adventure, with stunning scenery and plenty of opportunities for hiking enthusiasts.
The lack of Wi-Fi or cellular coverage made it difficult to stay connected with loved ones. there was a lack of variety with the walking trails, and some of the maps provided were difficult to read.

Stayed in a lovely cabin for four nights and was impressed with the natural surroundings. It's definitely worth visiting for those who love spending time in the wilderness. The cabins are located in a beautiful spot, with forest walks, crystal clear river, and wonderful birdlife. Even better, the whole area was gadget-free which made it a perfect getaway. Loved the well-equipped kitchen and the fluffy bath towels. The outdoor furniture was functional and perfect for enjoying the serene view.
The cabin itself was a bit rundown, and the gas heaters weren't working properly. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, and some of the plates in the sink were dirty.

Nestled in the forest bordering Barrington National Park, our stay at this lodge was a nature lover's dream. The location was perfect, with easy access to the river for leisurely walks and the tennis courts for some friendly competition. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and even a spa bath for relaxation. The service was fantastic, with attentive hosts providing us with everything we needed. The lodge also had a well-equipped kitchen and BBQ facilities, making meal times a breeze. The view from the balcony was stunning, with an abundance of birdlife adding to the peaceful atmosphere.
The burnt down guesthouse ruins nearby were a bit of an eyesore, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.
